Why Vaccines Are Not Safe

Dr. Steven Blake said, “Never in the history of the world has there been a greater medical assumption that has caused more deaths and suffering than vaccinations as we know them today.” It seems reasonable to assume that one could trust the advice of medical professionals regarding vaccinations. Unfortunately, vaccination recommendations are frequently not based on medical facts but rather they are directed by the appealing advertising of the pharmaceutical industry.

In 1978 the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) published instructions for veterinarians in the Ettinger’s Veterinary Internal Medicine Book to inject specific vaccines in the rear leg of pets, rather than on the torso or neck, so when the pet develops cancer the leg can be amputated. Even after the publication that many vaccines are SO likely to cause soft tissue sarcomas that amputation is likely the majority of vets, rather than questioning vaccines, seeking alternative methods of disease prevention, or increasing public awareness of known side effects of vaccines, continue to recommend annual vaccinations to bring in additional revenue without educating owners of potential side effects. These common side effects include thyroid disease, arthritis, leukemia, encephalitis resulting from paresis, acute allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis, soft tissue sarcomas, pancreatitis and much more. As a matter of fact, the AAHA Canine Vaccine Task Force and the AAFP Feline Vaccine Advisory Panel have recommended that vaccines such as canine adenovirus-1, FIP, Giardia, and Coronavirus not be given AT ALL due to serious adverse side effects. Despite official recommendations by veterinary advisory panels most vets continue to send out annual notices leading pet owners to believe that annual vaccinations are mandatory. Under the recommendation of the Marketing Pamphlets from the makers of vaccines, annual vaccinating brings in irreplaceable profits to veterinary facilities. Many vets are hesitant to give these profits up. Pet owners are most often uninformed of the risks of vaccines. Additionally, vets often imply that vaccinations are mandatory though enforcement would be a violation of Constitutional 14th Amendment Rights. Benjamin Franklin said, “When men differ, both sides ought to equally be heard by the public, for when truth and error have fair play, the former is always an overmatch for the latter.” Action against unnecessary vaccinations for the profits of unethical Veterinarians needs to be placed in the hands of pet owners. Only those that actively educate themselves of their state laws on vaccines, pets, what sort of disclosure and informed consent is required of their Veterinarian, facts about vaccines and adjuvants, etc will elicit change. When owners begin to demand change and hold their Veterinarians responsible for making ethical and moral decisions for the benefit of the health of their pet vs profit there will be a shift in the demand for the production of unsafe vaccines and a push to find safer and more effective means for prophylactic disease management.
