This woman owned company from Portland, Oregon, Cycle Dog focuses on the environment and raises awareness of the millions of bike tubes thrown into landfills every year. Since 2009, Cycle Dog has reclaimed hundreds of thousands of discarded inner tube rubber targeted for landfills and hand sewn them into attractive, strong, eco-friendly, and anti-bacterial (no-stink) dog collars. They also feature a bottle opener/tag ring and a Latch-Lock metal buckle that is 4-times stronger than plastic buckles. 

Since their conception, they have repurposed over 2,000,000 plastic bottles from landfills (used in their toys, beds and blankets) and 120 Garbage Trucks worth of Bicycle Tires (used in their collars, leashes and bowls).
