Collection: The Natural Dog Company Chews
This small, family-run company is located in Loveland, Colorado.
They use wind-powered energy and focus on free-range and grass-fed chews. They are becoming a certified Plastic Neutral company. Going above and beyond, they have partnered with rePurpose Global to fund the collection, processing, and reuse of as much ocean-bound plastic waste as it uses across its packaging and operations. By taking this bold commitment, every purchase from The Natural Dog Company will now carry a Net Zero Plastic Footprint. By donating a percentage of every product purchase to plastic reduction efforts, they are enabling the removal of low-value plastic waste otherwise landfilled, burned, or flushed into the oceans every year. For every plastic bag that they use in packaging or in daily operations, they pay waste pickers to remove a plastic bag out of a landfill.
Further, they have a goal to create a supply chain that is completely zero-deforestation by the end of 2021. While they do source many of their dog chews from Brazil and other Latin American countries, they acknowledge that as a company that sources products from countries that contain or border the Amazon rainforest that they have a responsibility to ensure they are not part of the global problem of rainforest degradation. They are sourcing their products many miles away from the Amazon rainforest and working with suppliers that have demonstrated a commitment to raising sustainable beef.
