Kidney (cat)

Eating processed kibble puts most cats into a chronic state of dehydration. A cat in the wild drinks very little water but consumes only moisture-rich prey. Soaking starchy, processed food helps but does not resolve pH imbalances or remove carcinogens. Feeding whole, raw foods with high moisture content is the best treatment and prevention for kidney problems. Cats, being obligate carnivores (purely meat eating), need a quality HIGH protein diet to maintain healthy kidney function. Supplementation is specific, depending on your cat’s condition (stones, infection, failure, etc). Please click our consultation box for assistance.
